Data General LDM 800 line printer, actually a re-badged Mannesmann-Tally MT-661. 800 lines-per-minute, line-matrix. Circa 1989.

Character drum from an unknown line printer, probably mid-'70s. The drum has 160 columns spaced at 1/10", and 64 character positions for each column. Each row of characters contains the same character across the drum. The character set is as follows:

IBM carriage tape punch. This was used to punch holes in a paper tape used to control vertical forms spacing on a line printer such as the 1403. The Vertical Format Unit had 12 channels, any of which could be selected to advance the paper a specified number of lines, according to the punches on the tape.
